The RDS Drift Car 1/10 Scale is perfect for those looking to compete in high-intensity drift racing. Equipped with a brushless electric 2WD motor and all the necessary radio gear and electronics, the RDS is race-ready right out of the box. It's also versatile enough to accommodate different battery sizes, making it a great choice for tuning to your preferences. Just add a 2S shorty LiPo pack, LCG 2S shorty pack, or standard 2S stick pack and hit the track!

Designed with a specific goal in mind, the RDS Drift Car 1/10 Scale was built from the ground up to excel in competitive racing. Equipped with rear wheel drive, this car dominates on common RC drift track surfaces like carpet, p-tile, and polished concrete. It can also be used on unpolished concrete and asphalt, but its true capabilities may not be fully realized on these rougher surfaces.

The RDS comes with a 2.4GHz radio, 540 3300kv brushless motor, 60A brushless ESC, digital Hexfly Drift-Spec steering servo, and a drift-specific gyro. Gyros are essential for rear-wheel-drive drift cars, providing a realistic door-to-door drift experience. The Hexfly GX-1 gyro automatically counter-steers the car, ensuring a smooth drift. Adjust the gyro's gain to fine-tune the amount of counter-steering.

Competitive drifting emphasizes the importance of line, angle, and style. Judges assess how closely one follows the ideal line, maintains maximum angle throughout the run, moves quickly through the course, and makes minimal corrections after committing to an angle. While these skills are crucial, it is also essential to have a predictable and adjustable drift car. The RDS excels in this area with its lightweight carbon fiber chassis and customizable features. Every aspect of the RDS can be adjusted to cater to the driver's preferences, including camber, caster, toe, ackerman, roll center, wheelbase, and center of gravity. The motor plate offers three mounting positions, allowing for adjustments in chassis roll and weight distribution. This level of customization allows for fine-tuning of traction and chassis roll on various surfaces. In drifting, having precise ackerman is vital as it significantly impacts corner speed. The RDS offers multiple steering link positions and a sliding ackerman plate, providing convenient and accurate tuning options. 

The RDS Drift Car 1/10 Scale comes with a sleek, stylish body that is also compatible with an optional LED light kit (sold separately). The car features front and rear light buckets that can each hold four LED lights in the back and two up front. This allows for a superior appearance both day and night.

Although the RDS is designed for advanced drifting competitions, it is also ideal for beginners as it comes ready to use on smooth concrete and p-tile surfaces. This allows new drifters to easily start practicing using the RDS with its pre-configured factory settings.
