When Team Quest hits the road to work with kids, the Starhawk model rocket is the rocket of choice. It can be assembled by children as young as 8 years old.
The Quest Starhawk model rocket is quick and easy-to-build with its one-piece plastic fin unit that simply slides into place assuring perfect fin alignment. The body tube is white so you can color and decorate your rocket with markers and pens. You can build and be ready for the launch field in 45 minutes or less.
The Quest Starhawk uses a 24 inch streamer for recovery. This makes it perfect for small flying fields like a schoolyard.
We recommend a Quest A6-4 rocket motor (available in 6, 12 and 25 packs) but the Starhawk can also fly on a Quest 1/2A3-2 motor.
You can also use a Quest B6-4 rocket motor, but be careful that your flying field is big enough to get your rocket back!
Can also be flown with an Estes A8-3 or B6-4 rocket motor.
Perfect for schools, youth groups, Civil Air Patrol, 4H, and Scouting Space Exploration Merit Badge requirements.
